anyone replace the puddle lamps on the side mirrors? when I search the part i get:

This bulb location uses LED lighting and is not a simple replacement part. There is a printed circuit board unit that can normally be found at the dealer.

perfect thanks! those are the last lights I need to swap just been too lazy

There are a couple great links to getting that bulb out as you have to pry off the mirrors to get to the two screws that hold the puddle light in there. Follow the links and it is easy. Love the brighter puddle lights.

Not sure what you mean. Do they fade when they go out? yes. I have never tried to dim them otherwise and the whole reason for the LED swap is to increase brightness...

Mine would still dim after you closed the door and turned the ignition.
