D558 5100s w/ 99 talls gave more lift than expected

About 500 miles ago, I installed the tacoma 3 notch bilstein 5100s on the lowest setting paired with my 99 talls which were already in place and I got way more lift than expected. My hub to fender measurement is 22 inches on both sides.

Only explanation I can think of right now is that I had to loosen the UCA through bolt a lot to allow the UCA to swing down so I could get the bottom shock mount bolt in and then I retorqued the UCA through bolt to spec while the truck was up in the air not back on the ground.

Could this be the reason? Like just undo the through bolt nut and then re-torque it while it is on the ground? I believe I have the coils on the correct side and I have the shock bottom seats in correctly (not upside down).

The UCA has nothing to do with it. Are your lower spring supports upside down? Snap a picture of the entire coilover and post if possible.

When I ran this setup a couple years ago, I was at 22" hub to fender on the middle setting. This was with used 99 talls and brand new Tacoma 5100's. Did you get an alignment yet?

When I installed my Sway-A-Ways on my 4Runner and got it aligned, my hub to fender height dropped almost an inch after alignment and settling.

Will snag a pic this afternoon but they are not on backwards. I took it to get aligned afterwards and unfortunately toyota said my caster adjusters were frozen from rust and that they got them as close to perfect as possible and I won't hardly notice the difference. I just don't understand I have not heard of 1 person on here getting this much lift from having 99 tails on the lowest of 3 notches on the D558 5100s.
