Dallas/Fort Worth Neighborhood Recommendation

So, I'm considering a potential work relocation to the north Forth Worth area. I've read about the crime rate and I'm pretty hesitant.

If I'm willing to drive a half hour to work (preferably not through DFW traffic), are there any areas north or west of Forth Worth that a member would recommend.

Only way not to drive in DFW traffic is if you do not have to use any of the highways. Even then, if you like to get out, traffic will be there. Its just the way it is around here. I am lucky to live somewhere relatively crime free, minor stuff, and not have to commute on any of the major highways, but Ive notice more traffic as more people are moving to the area. Not sure where you will be working at, but I live in Rockwall. Great area but it might be to far for your commute. Good luck though and welcome

I've heard that the area north east of Dallas is nice.

We (company and myself) got bogged down in employment contract negotiations so I've moved along.

Currently talking with a company in Minneapolis...we'll see how things work out.
