Dash Cam

I use a papgo

PAPAGO | Lifestyle electronics

I have the GOSAFE 110. It's super simple. It's pluged into the cig lighter. When the cig lighter gets power, the dash cam powers on. I have a 32gig microSD card. It also erases (loop). If the dash cam senses a sudden acceleration/deceleration (crash) it saves the file immediately to locked/secure. You need to go manually erase the file after. The file stops recording when power is lost to cig lighter. I routed the USB power cord by hiding it into the apillar and then headliner. Only part that shows is the little USB connector portion coming out and into the dash cam. The dash cam is mounted behind the rear view mirror. So you don't see it when you drive.

looks good, show install photos and video samples.

I finally got around to pulling some footage off of my cam, I can see a couple of problems, daytime, Glare. I think I can reduce the glare a couple ways. Night time was not as good as I had hoped but I think I can make some adjustments, this could be a glare problem as well, and by glare I mean reflection, mostly of the dashboard off the window causing incorrect exposure setting. I will have to fiddle around some more.
youtube really compresses it down quite a bit.

Just an update.... We have been using the iRoad in all 5 vehicles for a couple years now. Something worth mentioning.... Every one of them at some point has converted back to Korean for no known reason. Not a big deal, at least know I will understand if a Korean person says "please drive safely today".

I contacted the seller in Korea and they said to re-format the SD Card. Nope, that don't work. Tried a few other things and every one of them is in Korean still for about the last year.

Currently we are replacing all of them (one at a time) with the Garmin units. So far we have two dash cam 10s and one NuviCam (NuviCam is GIANT). There are other $200 units out there that perform as good as these new ones, but because of the spotty customer service with our old cameras, we chose the Garmin this time.

FWIW, having a dash cam has saved us twice in ohio. Once on a hit and run and once on a attack on the highway.
