Do you have scratches in the clear plastic covers of the instrument panel gauges (the 3 silver ringed pods)?

They are easy to scratch. I was dusting the interior with a swiffer sheet and just wiped over the plastic and scratched the clear covers. Light scratches in the clear cover.
I have read someone even had the dealer replace it but here is a simple solution:

Meguiars Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner #17
white 8 oz bottle.

Just a few dabs on a 100% cotton rag, wipe just like waxing your car and wipe off the residue.
Crystal clear! Works great to clean your radio and computer readouts too if they are scratched.

I scratched my IP the first 2 weeks I had my 4runner. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the plastic free of charge. I haven't touched them since. Where can I get this product you are talking about? Thanks in advance.

This is what I used:

I might get this too, except the #17 is really good enough:

#10 is a cleaner/finish.

Just an update:
At certain angles/when the light hits it right:bonk:
I still found a few "spiderwebs" of scratches so I used the #10 and got rid of them.

I'm thinking that the #10 or #18 is probably going to go finer.

For regular cleaning (and not scratch repair) I found the iklear wet/dry naps to work perfect.

www.iklear.com

they are for computer screens but work just as well.
*If you read this BEFORE you clean your gauges for the first time, just use iklear and you'll never worry about scratches in the first place! They are little wet-nap packages you can just keep in the glovebox.

Too much hassle for IP gauges but the squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say!
A damp 100% cotton cloth works fine too but then you get the water spots/haze :P

I think that's probably a re-labeled #18 or something- probably perfect for the job.
