Hey everyone, new to the forum, new to 4Runners. I hope this is the right place to put this question, if not, I apologize. I recently purchased a Daystar 2.5/1.5 Leveling Kit for my truck with the intention of putting it in along with a new set of tires. The only place I could find locally willing to do the kit and the tires and the alignment was a somewhat-nearby tire shop (About half an hour away) I dropped the truck off on monday and the guy calls me back today (wednesday) saying that he can't install the kit because I have a hydraulic suspension system or something like that? He also said that my shocks in the front were big enough to accept the 2.5" spacer but the ones in the back were too small to accept the 1.5" spacer...Is that possible? I feel like I would have read about this being a problem somewhere on the boards? I guess I'm not the most Car-savvy person but to my understanding this kit could be installed with very little extra work. He also said that in order to do the back I would need to order some sort of hydraulic liquid capping system to keep the lines from spraying all over the place when detached? I dont know this all sounds a bit fishy to me I'm feeling like maybe I'm just getting jerked around, probably shouldn't have gone to a tire place to have my lift installed...Anyway I just told them to go ahead and put the tires on without the lift but I don't even think the tires I want are going to fit without the lift?? I don't know, sorry if I'm coming accross as an idiot I'm just kinda learning as I go, any insight into this debacle would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks again.
