Hello everyone. I'm new here. I've had my 4runner since February and was shortly after deployed. I recently returned and finally have time to spend on it.

This when I first brought her home. She had bad brakes, a misfire and bad tire cupping. Needless to say she needed some TLC.

This is one of the drum brakes.

After the brakes and misfire were taken care of next came rims and a lift.
The lift is a 3" BOSS kit from Toytec

Finally got tires. 285/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's I hadn't taken the running boards off so it looked a little silly.

Took of the running boards and headed back from Utah....Then hit a snowstorm.

Next I wanted to change it up a little and paint the grill.

Next I slapped these on. Spidertrax 1 1/4" wheel spacers.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/111650508@N06/11394749793/" title="IMG_0136 by castro.derek, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7456/11394749793_1512d2bc46.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="IMG_0136"></a>

And this is how I spend my time when I'm not working on Marcy.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/111650508@N06/11394633666/" title="IMG_0145 by castro.derek, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5498/11394633666_76f805a86c.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0145"></a>

Then these came in the mail yesterday....

More to come! Super excited to share what all happens next!

I'm from St. George but I currently live in Nor Cal. My family is there so I visit from time to time.

I am not sure. How does one measure that?

lol, tape measure from the ground to the top of the tire. You can lay a ruler or something straight across the tread for an easier and more accurate reading than just eye-balling it. Thanks bud.

looking solid man! really liking the new grill look. looking to do something to mine like that soon. what kind of spray did you use on it? came out looking clean

Looks great! How much power loss did you experience going to the 285s? What about MPGs?

There was noticeable power loss but nothing too dramatic and as far as MPG goes I haven't taken time to figure it out exactly but it's not pretty. Hopefully I'll be able to balance some of the power out soon. I have a set of Doug Thorley headers waiting for me back in Utah ready to put on.

Here's some more photos from my most recent trip home.

So it was time for these nasty things to go.

The passenger side was far less cooperative. I had already broken pickle fork so I tried a wrench.
