i wasnt sure how i felt about all the runners ive seen here where the badges were removed....but late one night i got the idea in my head i wanted to remove them and i went with it and couldnt be happier. the look is so much cleaner and smoother. the car is a lot easier to wash now and im sure she will be easier to wax when i get to that in the next couple weeks.

oh yeah im much happier w. the look now. i was on the fence for a long time but after talking to my brother who did his show car i knew that it was the right decision.

Which fog light mod? I was thinking of modding my fogs so they come on with the parking lights, not just the headlights.

Looks good though, Chris. Let me know when you're planning on detailing the ol' runner. I am due for my spring detail and wax.

I started tp pull min off the other day but only got the side Limited off, how did you get the glue off?Or double sticky tape I should say, most of it came off but on one side it stayed? Maybe some rubbing compound?

nah, just a little heat and some fishing line did the job. it all came off w. no residue. i thought i would maybe have to claybar it a bit afterwards but once i washed the car it was good.

Cool. Let me know when you plan on doing it and we can do it together. I think it is as simple placing a jumper wire from one fuse to another inside the fuse box. I might give it a try today if it is straight forward enough. I just want to make sure the auto-off feature still works. I'll keep you posted...

NICE, my Limited badges were off the morning after I bought the truck, along with those annoying stickers on the roofrack side rails, what a PITA to get them off. The badges are stillon the rear hatch though, not sure if I will remove them yet.

looks great. i couldn't be happier when i did mine. every car i have ever had the badges were gone in the first couple days of owning it.
