Dealership can't even fix?

Just to clear up any confusion it def isn't a mild overall power loss from having the a/c on. I realize most engines have noticeable power loss. It is a very quick, short, noticable and almost engine stall/ cough. Kinda like it skips a beat if you will. Mostly just does it at higher speeds when engine is working hard. Most people think I drive like a grandma too for what it's worth.

The air seems to be working as it always has, works well. Especially considering the insane heat here right now. Have no idea what the magnetic clutch is but maybe my friend does and can check it for me. Thanks for suggestion.

I just can't believe that was the dealers conclusion either and thanks habenero for sharing my frustration with them. Charged me close to 700 for what they did too which seemed steep... but what do I know I guess...

My friend has been crazy busy at work (a/c repair guy) but hopefully I can get him to help me diagnose soon.

Really appreciate all and any more suggestions. And will def post what fixes, if ever, the problemo:(

Hmm... that just sounds like a miss to me. How old are your spark plugs and wires?

Earlier I suggested testing your alternator (which takes a minute and most shops would do it for free) because I was thinking if it was wearing out, the extra tax put on it by the A/C coming on was maybe working it too hard. That's still a small possibility, but with more info, I think your truck ain't firin on all 6.

You engine nearly stalls? Oh, it's your tire's mate.

Tires cause my engine to stall out?

Are you kidding? Tires make engines run terribly. Number 1 cause of engine problems...

Inspected wires and plugs at dealer and recommended plugs replace, so had them do it.

They told me the guy drove around for a long time trying to figure out what was going on and all he discovered was it happened with a/c on and with both OD on and off (which I originally thought it was doing it with only OD off).

You'd think the guy would know a engine miss when felt, right?

Oh and put list of things I had them do earlier... funny thing too is it didn't do it on way home from dealer. Just every trip after that:ak472:

Wasn't like they thought anything they did would fix tho.. they straight up said it was caused form tires and nothing would probably fix it...?????
