oh and once in awhile, the OD flashes and it feels like im towing something?

You might have a local toyota dealer balance the wheels. We went through this with costco. Nobody seems to have the proper centering tool for the balancer which adapts the 4runner wheels to get them balanced properly.
If that does not help, your probably going to have to give the truck a good going over. With the age and miles on these trucks, they really need a few new parts. We ended up rebuilding the suspension and drive train mounts throughout the truck which has made it rock solid on the highway and corners.

Jack the front up and shake the wheels...see if you have any play on the steering
Idler arm, steering rod, tie rod ends etc

found and fixed the issues. PO, never changed the brakes in 10 yrs. and my rotors were warped, calipers seized.

Replaced and all good now. thanks for the help.

Did the vehicle ever pull to any one side when using the brakes? Usually pulling or wobbling while using the brakes are some key signs of brake issues.

My death wobbles was from stuck calipers, and unbalanced drive shafts. Replaced all components and now drives like a 4runner..lol
