Awesome 4Runner. I once worked as a co-op at Denso in Maryville, TN at the plant that makes instrument clusters. We didn't make the 4Runner cluster there, but it definitely looked similar to some of the other Toyota ones that we did. Brave to take that stuff apart!
My Question: I see you added a color-keyed grill. Where did you find it, is there a good place I should start searching? I wouldn't mind changing out my chrome door handles as well.

I got it from partznet. pretty good place to find oem stuff.

Yeah, I found that site when I was searching threads on the grills. It seems the only link that has the part available is when you click "Limited." Then it shows you this list, which isn't exactly descriptive on what color each one is. Did you have to call to verify?

Yes, the grille is from the limited. I didn't have to call, IIRC there is a color code associated with each grille. just confirm what your color code is and you're golden.

Here you go:

The seat warmers were great at the beginning but one stopped working (passenger so not too concerned). they were installed at the same time as the katzkin's so not sure what brand they are. planning to swap to rostra seat warmers. Those things are awesome.

Super nice job and mods!!!! How did you swap the interior backlights from orange to white?? I would like to do the same mostly because I don't like the orange and some above the air controls are flickering!!!

I know my color code is 1D4, but that link I posted doesn't mention any color codes unless I am blind. :shrug:

Maybe the admin(s) gave up because of drama over who the T4ROTM was? If that was the case then the mods could just post up the winner and lock it. Now it just looks like a site that doesn't get maintained.

for those OEM fog light switches, i went to the toyota sparks and they dont have them anymore. Do you know where i can get those with the wiring. I have 4 KC lights on my Defiant bar.

They have a secondary site (TRD Toyota-Scion Performance Parts Accessories from Sparks Toyota-Scion) and it looks like it's still available.
