Bull bar
Well,, this is the one I am looking at eventually. I like that it looks like part of the truck. I may do it w/o the bar though.

My opinion but it won't..
If it's just an appearance package for the front end your looking for, the TRDP front end you might like

Something I've noticed is that people from the Northeast love their bullbars. I suppose they're worried about cars backing up into them with street parking?

If the purpose is for looks, then I will agree with what others have stated as bullbars and "grill guards" are just damage multipliers in the event of an accident. The only real purpose that they could be useful for is if you're not the greatest parallel parker and to stop slight dings on your front bumper, anything more then that you're screwed. IMO a bullbar doesn't scream aggressive, it says "I try and fit into too small of a parking space at the mall".
Functional replacements have already been thrown out there. You could also use the $ and replace the fog lights with some amber fogs from Baja designs, as some people will use the bull bar to place extra lighting on the front end and the fog replacements will be functional and add a different look. You could also replace the front skid with a TRD 1/4" aluminum, which is both functional and an improvement over stock (as well as it will be seen with your lift).
The last suggestion is to just save your $. The front of you 4Runner looks good as is and you could use the couple $100 to go somewhere and create some memories.

Another option would be to get a trail or Pro Valance for your bumper

I agree! I want a bull bar, (well my parents do for me) but there aren't many great options that will provide protection

Because those bolt up a lot more securely than a bull bar on a T4R and they're built for a specific purpose, to perform a PIT maneuver. They're designed to take that specific abuse and that's it. They don't help much if the cruiser were to get in a serious head on or front end accident. My dad has a bull bar on his 2008 (it came already on it when he bought it) and the thing always seems like it's barely holding on.

the chrome one you see above mounts on tiny little metal tabs that wrap around the bumper down and under the bumper than back up to bolt on
those police ones mount on more substantial tabs that go through the grill/bumper, but even still are only designed for mild forces of doing something like pushing and will also become a damage multiplier in anything bigger.
police push bars can look cool on the right car, shitty cheap bars like the one posted above never look okay.

I know I know, 5th gen thread yadda yadda. But you can get a retired police Crown Vic push bar for like $90 on eBay. Little mods and metal it can look pretty slick and be useful for pushing. I've pushed 2 friends cars with mine.
Maybe someone could photoshop a 5th gen with a police bumper to see

The push bars on police cars are damage multipliers also! A year or two ago some idiot pulled out in front of me while I was on duty, and I almost got stopped on time, but not quite. The guy's Prius barely had a scuff on the paint, and the front end of the Crown Vic I was driving was destroyed. Had it just been a stock Crown Vic bumper it would have only been paint damage also.
