Defiant Light Bar from Tiregate...extra bracket?

I have five piece of hardware for my light bar...and it appears that really it's only the two brackets that secure to the bumper provision and then the actual light bar. Am I to do anything with the (2) small flat pieces...they are about 6" long. Perhaps these are for use in a different model?

probably included for different mounting options. If it bolts in and feels secure, you should be fine

Figured it out...the bracket goes above the bumper/frame rail support. Instructions are a little lacking, but figuring it out is simple enough.
