For the record, i have exhaustively used the alternative search function :keyboard: in the 5th gen forum in hopes that i would find some pics of the demello x-wing sliders mounted on a 5th gen 4runner. Came up empty :smashputer:.

has anybody bought these? mounted these? used them as a slider? are the useful as a step?

I am looking for useful information on the look, fitment, and functionality of these.

anybody?

and please remember:

We will have some on our 2015 shortly. We will be doing a full write up on our 2015 as well soon. Including the new bumper, adding a 3rd row to a trail edition and lots more:)

VERY interested to see what you do for a 3rd row. It would make my wife very happy if we can find something that will work for us.

I had looked at these they look nice but with not much info and didnt seem like anyone else had them I decided to go shrockworks. With my LE I had to factor rocker panel costs as well.

I to have been wanting either the x-wing or dominatorz but have been unable to see pic's or find further info of them on 5th gen runners. There seems to be several on the fj's and one on a 4th gen runner

HerT4R I checked them out in person, I took some photos of xwings on Jason's 4th gen, if it's any help

I stopped by Domello's shop on Monday to check out the new sliders in person. They aren't too bad at all, I just have to see if they are functional for my needs and the family needs.

I snapped some pictures from Jason's ride, asked him if it was ok for me to share and he said yes, nice guy. It's a 4th Gen, but you can get an idea.

Check them out -

I really really like the look of these :eyebrows:, and they look like they will be very functional as a step! fits my needs perfect, and looks awesome what more could you ask for??? I am about as happy as this llama with these sliders:
:llama:

I will be looking to buy a set for sure, but not before the lone star toyota jamboree... Here is to hoping a set of these for the 5th gen is raffled off at the toyota jamboree... jdemello :hungry:

anyone else have these? Can someone step on one to show much much of a foot can get onto the slider?

how wide is it at the rear?

Looking for something that can take a beating, and can function as steps as needed.

I've got size 15 squatch feet & they're more than large enough for use as a step when I open/close my RTT.

Check my build thread (Bleu) for more pics

thanks ! perusing your thread now. How was install on these? are they bolt on with no drilling required?

I have heftyfabworks sliders now, and i really need something with more step. The X-Wings look like they fit the bill while still offering me some heavy duty protection.

10 minute install for me... totally bolt-on.

People either love or hate them. I wasn't a huge fan, but they fit the bill for my step needs and grew on me....

any chance you can put a tape measure to the rear step and see how many inches that sticks out? Thanks!
