Bought my 2016 Trail last February. I've driven 4x4s almost exclusively for the past 40 years. Had Isuzu Troopers for nearly 30 years. This is my first 4Runner, and also the first time I've had so many mods done. I figure this might be my last off-road vehicle, so I might as well splurge.

I'm self-employed and semi-retired. Unfortunately I don't get to go out to the desert anywhere near as often as I used to, due to my wife's health issues.

25, Field Asset Manager, '16 TRDP in White. I traded in a built STi and got a great deal when I ordered my 4R, been wanting one ever since I was a kid and we sold out '95 model. Already put 12K miles on it from work and going places off road. Stock with a lightbar behind grille, planning on roof rack, maybe sliders and some 33's when the Terra Grapplers wear out

Bought it on '16 December, stock for now.

First car at 17yo was a rusted 1987 4R. Then I had douzain of POS. And then my first brand new car, '16 Trail.

I plan on keeping it until it fall apart but I can see with the great resale value, some would be tempted to sell and buy a new one after 5y.

Honestly most of the T4Rs in where I live are driven by hockey moms so this demographic list is only for us enthusiast and tinkerers lol. Nothing wrong with that but wonder if it is the same in other cities as well.

Probably the youngest 5th Gen owner here, 19 turning 20 in Feb. Go ahead and make your assumptions. Yes, my parents are VERY VERY generous and I love them unconditionally for it. Studying to be an Electrical engineer so I will spend my adult life trying to pay them back for all they do.

Idk there's a 17yo with a TRDP...
