I am going to swap a fuel injector this weekend and wanted to know if Denso makes Toyota injectors or should I buy Toyota Genuine.

Hey buddy, what's good. I recently dealt with a cylinder 5 misfire code. After checking spark plugs, wires etc I realized I should probably grab an injector. I ended up going the OEM route, since I never have used anything in my car in the year I have had it that was not OEM. That said, denso is OEM I believe.

If I had to go all 6 and did not have the $$$ I would have probably went with five0 motorsports for rebuilt ones. They have a good warranty...just an option. Best of luck and let us know how it works out

I am only getting the P0306 code, so I will probably swap out 1 injector and replace the gaskets.

No worries bro, but hey, may want to give them a shout before ordering and clarify whether or not they are rebuilds...if rebuilt..give five 0 motorsports a shout. They would have a better price and awesome warranty for their rebuilt denso/oem injectors.

Best of luck buddy

Good idea...if you were to replace injector(s) but not gaskets...you would not throw code but still have a slight vibration at idle....annoying!

Sixth cylinder..too bad not an even number cylinder...then only the throttle body would have to come off. You gotta take off the plenums!

You are right. That 6th cylinder was a pain in the.... With all the great advice and pictures on the internet, the job was not that bad. Took my time, cleaned the throttle body and plenums. I also had to replace some some vacuums hoses that fell apart. I am thinking about replacing some more hoses.

Just noticed I said even instead of odd. 1 3 and 5 do t really require plenum off, but as you found, evens require plenums off. What a pita. Glad to hear you stuck it out and squashed the issue...some of those little clamps and plugs can be ****ing hell to take off
