Thanks!! Lockers would be awesome, but oh boy is that expensive. Thinking of doing either an auto locker in the rear, or an e-locker swap...

Wanted to share a mod I did today that I thought turned out pretty great- windshield washer reservoir.
I went to the junkyard and picked up a coolant bottle and washer reservoir. 2 holes in the bottom of the coolant bottle for the pumps and grommets to go into, and another big one at the top where the lid used to be for the washer fluid lid. I wanted to swap lids so that I had a filter and it was easily able to be told apart from the actual coolant.
Here's the new bottle with the pumps attached.

It works perfectly, and now I have tons more room in the passenger wheel well for stuffing some tires!

I've been slacking a bit on updating this recently.. but the most recent project: firewall chop!
By far one of the most terrifying things I've done. Cutting into the floor and hoping not to accidentally cut too far or grab a wire is just a little bit rough.. overall I thought the chop went pretty good. I'm happy with the lines I got and how it welded up.

Never got a picture of it painted.. but I bedlined it. Gives a nice texture to it, hoping to stop rock chips and whatnot, and it matches pretty well with the rest of the inner fender.

Rock Therapy 2016! This was my second year attending, and it was a blast. It was incredibly hot and the bugs were bad, but overall I had a good time.
Not sure why, but it seems some of the photos turned out a little weird in the upload to Flickr. Oh well.

Ended up running Hell's Revenge with [MENTION=99443]dunktap[/MENTION], [MENTION=57546]4-Ripcord[/MENTION], and [MENTION=129084]Flemster[/MENTION] the first day. Always a fun trail, and the views are amazing.

Finally, on the last day, we ran Kane Creek. I really enjoyed the trail, but it sure was tough. The final climb out is crazy, and getting harder every year by the sounds of it.

As you can see from that final photo, I did blow a bead on the trail. I had no idea what to run these new tires at, so I tested them at 15 on TOTW, but went down to 8 for Kane Creek. Definitely a little too low, although they really gripped and soaked up every minor bump. I think I'll try 10-12 next.
The 35s worked great, with the exception of some minor rubbing. The rear bumps are set up perfectly, stopping them in the exact spot for no rubbing. In the front I didn't quite chop far enough, so it rubbed the plates I welded in near the top. No big deal, a little bit of time with the hammer and it should clear. They were close!

Absolutely, I've always had a good time out there! Do yourself a favor though and go early or late in the season (March/September are perfect)

Just a little sneak peak at one of the things I've been working on recently! Rear LED cube + 5" amber LED, mounted on the swingout arm.
Heading out camping this weekend, so we'll see how all of the new goodies perform...

Spent the weekend of the 4th out camping/exploring, and it was great!
Headed up late afternoon to Pickle Gulch to do a little night wheeling and camping. As mentioned in the last post, I recently installed some new lights and was itching to use them, and this gave me the perfect opportunity to! (Light post is still coming, waiting to finish one more first). We did end up completing most of the trail, but almost all of it was in the dark, so no pictures!

It looked like we were the first people up McClellen Mountain this season (full size rig, that is), as we ran into a bit of snow and had to do some digging to get past it safely. This certainly had some pucker to it.

Finally swapped to LEDs for the dash! So happy I did, the difference is incredible. Plus, I had the majority of the climate control lights out, so having all of the lights again is always nice. Picked them all up from SuperBrightLEDs for about $26.
The cool white is amazing, I love it! Super clean look.
