Detailed my wife's 2007 Acura TL

Hey guys, I wanted to share with you my detail job on my wife's car.

For most of the car I only needed the Meg's polish, as it did great work of fixing the paint the first time and giving it the needed shine. I think this combo worked since the Acura's are known for having a softer paint.

So I spent 11hrs total, not including breaks and meals doing the paint correction phase. (yes I'm not fast at all).

Products used:

• PC 7424XP
• Nanoskin Autoscrub pad
• Lake Country CCS pad
• Orange for Meguiars M105 Ultra-Cut Compound
• White for Meguiars M205 Ultra Finishing Polish
• Grey for the Duragloss Total Performance Polish (TPP) # 105 (sealant)
• Plus frosty adult beverages, and plenty of tunes! :cheers::cheers:

We have not had much sun this week so here's the best I could do with our clouds.

Nice Job! I picked up a new recently 4runner and will be having it detailed/corrected tomorrow with an Opti-coat application for some long-term protection. I'd like to have the wife's car done as well, but getting this stuff done ain't cheap, would love to be able to do it myself. Is this something you've been working at for awhile or is this your first crack at it?

Opti-coat is some good stuff from what I have seen! This is actually my 4th time detailing a car. But with that porter cable that I have it makes it easy to learn how to do. I looked at it as if I spend say $200 per detail job or buy the stuff at around say $400 then by the second job I am even in cost.
