Did 2010-2013 4Runners have issues with bigger tires clearing the body mount, too?

This link makes me question if they did not have the same clearance issues as 2014+

Notably the last post indicating a user clearing 285/70/17’s (32.7x11.2R17) on a stock SR5 with no issues.

Lift has nothing to do with tire clearance to the body mount.

Stock wheels without adding spacers can clear the body mount with 285/70R17s with the right alignment at stock height.

Nothing's changed 2010 to current. Lots of people run larger tires and have no clearance issues, because they never leave the pavement.

Yep that’s me. Just want to be able to turn lock to lock, won’t see any compression beyond the weight of the vehicle level on all 4 wheels.

Why?

I mean seriously if it rubs, stop, get out, see whats rubbing, get back in.
Then either get it chopped, tucked, trimmed or don't crank it so hard the next time.

I had a 3rd Gen for over 20 years that rubbed and it was never an issue on or off road IRL. It's pretty simple, Just know the limitations and deal with them accordingly.
