Did I receive the right O2 Sensor?

I ordered an OEM Toyota front O2 sensor, PN 89465-39835, which I believe is correct for my truck.

When I received the item, the box was open, and the item inside it had 89465-35360 stamped on it, as well as Denso 7094. I can't find any spec for these numbers. Is it interchangeable with what I ordered, or should I return it and ask for one with the right PN on it?

I just replaced both of min on my 98 3rd Gen in hopes it would improve my gas mileage. Preliminary results are it did improve my gas mileage a little.

Thanks Tim. I did use the Denso website. The sensor I ordered is the correct Toyota part number for my vehicle.

What I am asking is did I receive the correct item, since it has a different number stamped on it. I paid $35 for this O2 sensor, that's why I chose it instead of the Denso from Amazon (I did get the rear unit from there).

Gotcha. I didn't even think to look for a number on the sensor. Mine were in unopened boxes and the sensors were wrapped in plastic bags. They matched the ones I pulled off so I assumed they were the correct sensors.
 
Ignore the numbers stamped on the sensor. They never match. They didn't match on the factory ones I took off mine. Basically, if it fits in the bung, has enough wire and plugs up, it will work. There are three types of sensors: flange 02, flange A/F, and screw-in O2. Within each type, they vary only by wire length. Proof of that, is that Toyota makes a universal in each type that has just a wire that can replace all of the sensors of each type by cutting the wire and splicing in the old plug.The plugs of the o2's are different than the A/Fs, so you can't plug in the wrong type. Too little wire is a problem, but a little extra can be fastened out of the way. So as long as you have the right type with enough wire, you are good.

Yup, that's my OCD kicking in. If the box had been unopened, I wouldn't have bothered, but because it was an open box special (hence $35 instead of normal $100), I wanted to make sure someone did not pull a switch-aroo on the item.

I replaced both sensors today. Interestingly, the OEM upstream sensor had the exact same part number (89465-35360) stamped on it as my replacement unit, so that resolved any residual concerns. Here they are side by side:



Oddly, the replacement Denso unit had a longer harness than the OEM one, even though it's supposed to be the right item. I guess longer is better than shorter, though the loop can conceivably reach the driveshaft flange if it decided to get gnarly. I'll tie it down with a zip tie just to be sure:

Just to reinforce my point about the numbers on the sensors themselves...when I plug that number into the reverse search at Camelback Toyota I get this:

Part number 89465-35360 was not found.

I'm pretty sure that is a batch part number for just the sensor end piece that goes on before the wires and plug are added. The sensor piece then becomes one of a number of final P/Ns and is given a box with that number.

As to the length, it is quite possible that Denso has consolidated p/n's with similar lengths after 20 years just to simplify things.
