Did this mechanic install my life correctly (pics, toytec)

I mean Lift LOL! I can't edit the title.

I measured from the hub to fender on both front and back and there is an inch less at the front.

I just picked it up from the mechanic moments ago, will it settle down or is this a problem?

Here's a pic of the spacer, can you tell if it looks right?

The kit is the all coil kit with top spacers for the front.

What specific coils did you get front and rear? Your uca's look pretty close to stock position, even the 890s should merit a little more drop/lift.

OEM 881 front and 890 back.

sorry I misread your post, i thought you said you only got an inch, not an inch less in the front. the 881s, while slightly taller than the 880s, are a very modest lift, even with the top out spacer. if you are unsatisfied with the level send me an email with what you're trying to accomplish and we'll see if I can't get you in the right direction

Thanks, I'm happy with the lift i just wanted to check that the spacer looks like it's in the right place?
And do you think it will change when it settles?

really hard to tell from the pic, but the install looks correct from what i can see. The only thing i can really think of that can be wrong is if the rear isn't seated correctly. Meaning the notch on the spring should be in the notch on seat. If its not, the spring will site higher and be unstable.

personally i like the stance .... just load the back up w/ a jack, some tools, etc and it will be level before you know it!

I see they seated the front ones correct so i will assume they did the back correct too.
Is it possible to see if the back ones are seated correctly?
The reason why i want to check their work is because mechanic shops here in chicago have 0 experience with lifts, the guy who installed it just followed the instructions.

actually after looking back at my own lift research, i'm pretty sure everything is fine.

open that, and check the second to last listing. He didn't have the top out spacer, or at least didn't mention it, so it would make sense that you would be about an inch difference after the spacer.

From the pictures everything looks normal. As far as 'settling' in the front, the feel may differ over the next week, but as far as height its as tall as it will get. As the miles accumulate the coils will start losing their full rate and cause drooping, but it will be at a very slow rate if you're keeping weight off the front.

Going back and reading your first post, you've retained your stock stuts/shocks? When you put extended coils on stock struts (front), the struts become fully expanded to allow the coil to fit on the assembly, as a result this limits the lift as well as the struts performance. So it is possible there is a little more lift to be gained from the fronts..i'd say .5" max if any, if you were to mount them on an extended strut that will allow the coil to be mounted without being overcompressed. This applies somewhat to the rears as far as maxing out the coil's lift because the shocks are fully extended.

As a side note since we're already on the subject, you'll find a lot of people have complaints with early sag in the rear when using OME coils, more specifically the 890s. If you feel you'd like to make any adjustments to your current set up just let me know.

I think your 4runner looks good man, I wouldn't worry about it. It only looks like a slight rake. Definitely doesn't look like an 1" though. What are your measurements from ground to center of fender? or center of wheel to fender?
