Diff fluid chahge.

As I understand you have to jack up the car to change the front diff fluid.

Do I need to lift only one side or both?
Does anyone have pic of whole car during front change procedure?

I don't see why you would have to jack the truck up to do the diff change........unless YOU can't fit under it to do the change. The only requirement that I can see is to do it on level graound so that you can fill it correctly.

From the posts I gathered that the front diff change requires removal of skid plate and lifting the car since there is not enough clearance on the front.

Did anyone change the front diff fluid without lifting the car?
I assume with the Cornfed lifts it should be no problem changing it without jacking the car up.

I have changed the front diff twice so far. Just remove the rear part of the skid plate. Loosen the fill plug first (just in case) and then remove the drain bung. No need to jack it up.

I should have included in my first post that I have changed my front and rear diffs and did not require it to be jacked up. I take the skid plate off for each oil change and I don't jack it up for that either.
