Digital Dash - Anyone got one ?

Thought i knew everything about 4runners/Surfs and then came across this on Ebay

Toyota : 4Runner SR5 in Toyota | eBay Motors

I love the 1st gens and always loved digital dashs on cars but never knew they came on the petrol turbos.

Anyone know where i can purchase a digital dash?

Ive only seen one in person, and it was broken (truck had been crushed)

It only came on the turbo trucks with SR5 trim packages.

And since the turbo was only available for 2 years (86-87), there aren't many around.

I love those displays, I have never seen one for sale individually. I like the turbo leds, haha. I looked at buying a turbo 4runner that had one in it but the whole truck was for sale.

Friends' dad currently has a perfectly running '87 Turbo with that cluster. They're neat alright.

Fun fact about that cluster. See the scale change button? If you press that, it changes the range of the reading from 4/4 tank-0/4 tank to 1/4tank -0/4 tank. If you're planning on running her on fumes, you can see more accurately how little gas you have left!

Wonder how difficult it would be to put into a Diesel Turbo. Will keep my eye out for one.

if i remember correctly the digital dash only came on the turbo runners. the trucks just had a turbo light in the dash but not digital.

Bought from Ebay. The guy threw in a broken plastic surround one aswell for free.
