Have a pretty good ding in rear chrome bumper panel. Anyone have any idea where and how much I can get a new panel for.

Hmm... Didnt think of that. Has anyone seen these for sale on the web? I searched but could not find them anywhere. Could be because i'm not exactly sure what that piece is called.

That looks like it could be "pulled out" by a dent repair place.

I would try to find a local guy who can do it.

Ive always heard it is extremely difficult to effectively remove a dent from chrome. For 54 dollars for the extension I dont see a local guy being any cheaper even if it could be done.

Not only is it chrome, but it's made of HSLA considerably thicker than sheetmetal. No PDR guy would even attempt it.

The Toyota oem part is much more in price. But may look and match better if your dented piece is still the factory piece. I spent a little over 800 for all factory parts less the two rear center brackets.

When I was looking for replacement parts when wife got rear ended I found zero positive write ups on the cheep aftermarket parts. All were poor ratings. Thin metal, poor chroming, back side of bumpers started rusting right away. Etc....

I used an aftermarket chrome rear bumper on mine. The factory bumper rusted through within five years. Before I installed the new one I painted the back side with under coating. I'm happy enough with it for $120 shipped. It's been about three years and seems to have held up fine. After all these are 15 year old vehicles. Sorry no pix. Photobucket issues today.
