Yeah it was from the new FJCs was only 30 bucks so why the hell not right? I'm going to have to cut and configure, I gotta put my engineering brain to use for this one haha.
Make it up to me, buy me dinner or do my SAS.

At the moment, it's going to be either a Chick-O-Stik or a 12" spacer lift.

Right now I'm leaning towards water meth injection, might do the 7th injector later down the line but I'm going to get headers and a 2.2 pully.

Yeah I was in Texas for awhile, planning on going back soon too, we were hanging out at CiCi's one last time before I low tailed it back to this place. Man I miss Texas.

Yeah I lived in katy and made my life there, it's home. I did grow up in Leander, but that place is kinda dead to me after a few things that happened haha. Austin was great though! Man the parties on 6th street and the live music. A buddy of mine in my command got orders to a recruiting detail in San Antonio where my dad lives and I miss the hell out of the river walk and the Alamo...and I digress, reminiscing about the old days..man. Haha well I'm going to go source out a dynamic tensioner bracket for my supercharger, hopefully I can get it installed along with a water/meth kit to go along with it.

are you looking to buy a new dynamic tensioner bracket or used? I need 1 freaking bolt for mine cuz the head to the bolt is completely stripped and needs to be "jimmy rigged". Im thinking about just welding a random bolt head to it.
ps.. I lived in katy for the last year and half before moving to Denver... Lets just say I dont miss it one bit lol

I think I'm going to just go new, the tensioner itself that came with the kit has seen better days.

Probably not a bad idea then. Will you sell me the two long bolts that came with your original tensioner sense you'll get new ones with the new kit? It would be a HUGE help for me!

I would if I had them, maybe the guy threw them into the box but it didn't even come with the bracket.

Oh. Well if you spot them in the box let me know, otherwise ill figure something else out. I just bought a supercharger too and im really hoping it has everything I need otherwise installation will have to wait a few more weeks.
You installing yours soon?

Yeah hopefully next week after the rebuild. I still want to do my timing belt and water pump before I get it on. With my tax return looking quite delightful my 4runner will be big and frightful.

Yes that is the elusive bracket for the dynamic tensioner. 10ac got it from a buddy of his that had it on his Tacoma and low and behold he took it off and I ended up with it, not all I need to do is the maintenance. Then supercharger time. Also, I'm going to be ordering a new bumper from CBI because I just don't really love mine anymore and I struck a deal with 10ac for his retrofit setup. Everything that could possibly go right went right today.

Well I sold it to 10ac for some cash and his HID kit haha, it was a good deal so I had to take it. As far as updates go though, I have done a little work to it here and there still gathering some more parts to go with the supercharger, ie fuel mods and what not. Debating between a water meth kit and the 7th still. But I now know the full purpose of the cargo cover, it is to carry a 28inch pizza
