Disable DRL on a 1998 limited 4runner from Canada

Does anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights on a 1998 limited 4runner purchased from Canada. It has DRL already...a standard thing on all Canadian cars. I recently installed HID's on my car and it wont stop flickering unless I turn on the lights and I dont want to drive in the day with HID's on. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the help Yardie...the description where to find and how to disconnect the DRL resistor couldn't be better.
