Disable tilt on drivers power seat?

Random question, but is there anyway to disable just the tilt function on the seat bottom? Or does one motor do all?

definitely one of the strangest questions in a while. I don't think so. you could take off the handle I bet and make it less likely someone would touch it maybe

You could probably figure it out by tracing the schematics to the the seat switch and disable signal from that pin set. There are a ton of Toyotas that use this layout, and based on a quick search - they all (2015-2020+) seem to share the same harness/connector with 12 pins. Search ebay listings for Toyota Seat Switch 84070-60050 to see the connector.

There are multiple motors, but it doesn't appear that they are discretely servicable. Toyota seems to only offer "seat adjuster assemblies" with all included mechanisms. See Part 1 in diagrams of reference here: Power Seats for 2020 Toyota 4Runner | Toyota Parts Center

biggest thing here is just... WHY!? lol can never get it "just right after someone adjusts it? haha
