Disconnect Battery - Rear wiper not working

Hello,

So this is not a one time thing. I've disconnected the battery 3 times now (twice for the radio and once when I dropped the fuel tank). Each and every time the rear wiper and rear window defrosters stop working for a certain length of time...then presto they start working again.

Anyone else have this issue? How can I fix it right away rather than waiting for the gremlins to fix it themselves?

Thanks - but that thread only covers power windows. Is there a reset procedure for the wiper and defroster?

Well what do you know. Thanks to both of you. Just tried it and she's as good as new.

If the computer doesn't think the window is all the way up, the wiper and defroster don't work. That's why resetting the window fixes those things as well.
