Befor i go in to explaining the issues i am having i need to know the effects this has to determine if it could cause the issue....

The g1 (think its just red) 2nd wire in the 4 wire plug that connects to the distributo

Throwing a code (52 i think) knock sensor

I have been fighting with this ****ing thing since i bought the truck a year ago.... I re-pinned the plug installed a new lead and drilled/tapped the upper rear motor hoist and installed the sensor externally....

I have bought and installed 5 knock sensors to this point a factory toyota one and 3 from rock auto (i play with it on and off till i get annoyed finger ****ing the enging bay and give up for a few months

With out pulling the ecu/pcm and ohming the wires from the engine bay while aome one beats the ****ing **** out of this boat anchor with a hammer (engine knock)....

If the g1 sensor wire is broken will this throw a code 52?

So if I'm understanding this correctly, you installed the knock sensor in a location other than the stock mounting spot?
