The one I posted is a pool noodle that was fiberglassed over. the noodle was pulled out prior to completing.

The one I posted is a pool noodle that was fiberglassed over. the noodle was pulled out prior to completing.

That's a great idea for forming the fiberglass, when I was back in high school, I used plaster to fill the intake tube of my RX7 and then shaped it after cutting the tube off, then I used a boat repair kit to make a fiberglass intake tube(everything sourced at Wally World).
