do 12.5" wide tires work on 08 FJ rims?

I'm wanting to sell my wheels and tires I have. Found 4 17" 08 FJ rims, silver, with crap tires. Going to get mud tires to put on them. Would like to put 33" or 35"/12.5 tires on. I don't know how wide these rims are but mine are 10" and the guy said he wouldn't go any smaller wide. If I get these I'm going to do a sweet custom paint on them. Any insite on if these would work and spacers would be great.

I'm running 315's (12.50's) on stock wheels which are 7 inches wide. So yes they will fit. Pretty sure FJ wheels are 7.5 inches wide

I use to run 33x12.5's on my Jeep on 8 inch wide wheels. Pretty sure you're okay on the FJ wheels.

The FJ's are 7.5 in wide, but you will need spacers to fit them with that big of tires.

You need to look at two different things. To see if the tires will fit the rim, you can usually go to the tire manufacturers website and look up the specs for the tire you want and will specify what width rims, usually a range, they will fit. Then you have to consider if they will fit on the vehicle. You may need anything from a lift to spacers or rims with a different offset/backspacing.

thats what i was thinking after looking at it... i like the red toyota and trd though, i drew it out and looks better witht he real trd logo. but not doing the dots

well from what others say they will fit. i know about spacing, i bought my rims now for 12.5" tires, offset -16mm, but i will probably need like 2" spacers for these rims
