Do I have a factory alarm?

I have a remote. With door lock/unlock features. It has a panic button and rear window roll down. However I never heard the alarm go off. There is no alarm indication light.
I'm not sure if i have a factory alarm. Or just a keyless entry?

If i don't have a factory alarm. I would install one with remote start. Don't want anyone breaking my windows for a cheap stereo that cost less than the window repair.

Try this

Open one of the front windows down. Then lock the car with your key fob. Then reach inside and unlock the car (by pressing the unlock button on the armrest or by pulling up the pop-up thingy near the window). Open the door. If your car has a theft alarm, it will go off. You can then reset the alarm by pressing the unlock button on the key fob or by inserting the key in the ignition.

I already tried that. It did not go off. Its almost like a half ass alarm. Any other ways to tell? Anyone knows where the alarm box is located for a 2002?

If I unlock it with the remote and it will relock itself in 15 seconds.
