Do I need a differential drop?

Hey Everyone, I'm about to install the Daystar 2.5/1.5 on my 05 SR5. I've read on here that I don't have to do the diff drop or control arms at 2.5" lift. But I've also read a lot about inner cv boots splitting. I'm going to be installing 2 new Cardone CV Axles at the same time and I'd really like to avoid having any problems with boots splitting. Will a diff drop help to prevent that from happening? So, should I go ahead and do the diff drop? I can get a kit on Amazon for $23 so the cost is not a factor. Thanks in advance!

I would do the lift, and if the inner boot fins rub eachother after putting on a few miles, I would do the diff drop kit.

Generally no.

Diff drop IMO if your axles are binding when suspension is unloaded (tire off ground). If that were the case you're probably running too much lift. If not leave it be.
