Do I need mods for this?

When we started we were asking about issues like the deepest water crossing we could do.

Best wishes with this and sincerely hope you find the solution.

Ok good point Dave...so what’s the tallest radiator support a stock Trail can climb over without scraping?

Go.

Love the Archer video clip and the winch suggestion! And the 4Runner parking only sign.

Many thanks to those of you who saw and joined in the humor! :-)

I deal with that at work as well. Drives me nuts.

I've had a few real nice spots jacked, but at the end of the day they are public spots. What I've done is basically used that as an indicator of people who care about that shit though.

Park next to him, and you're "protecting" one side of your car again. And if he dings you, you know it'll hurt if the wind happens to catch your door one day.

Depends on the company/place. I parked my last rig in an assigned spot between two colleagues for 5 years. ZERO dings. My wife has a "staff lot" with no assigned spaces at an elementary school... her poor mazda has dozens of dings, including several that are really bad... there are also scratches and drag marks from bags/purses/etc. and a long blue paint mark I just noticed the other day (her car is red...). I don't want to stereotype, but her primarily female colleagues apparently don't give a shit about each others cars. Fortunately, she doesn't care much either.

I so feel you on this, when I get to work my first thought isn’t how screwed I am with my workload for the day but whether I can get that sweet spot in the corner. I usually get in early enough that I’m there before everyone else but every once in a moon that ONE person will steal the spot and it instantly becomes parking lot wars where you wait for them to leave for lunch to snag the spot. I can see the parking lot from my office - yes, I’m horrible. Then you get those glares when you happen to leave work at the same time.

Take a ball-peen hammer and a set of keys, and start banging and scratching the hell out of your own car. There, now you won't give a sh!t. It's a truck, not the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

Buy a cone at Lowes and put it in that spot at the end of the day. Remove in the morning when you get there. I had that going at my office to get a good spot for a couple weeks before the cone dissappeared...lol

Leave a stack of bricks or something in that spot so that he wont be able to park but you will since you have the clearance ;)

I like your style. Ripped the step off ours and added some custom pin striping before the first payment. Pressed the bracket straight and tigged it back together. Cant wait to get some real sliders in a couple months.

I used to have the same parking problem, but I came up with an ingenious solution and you're welcome to use it.
Since I was old enough and I had many years at that job, I simply retired. Now when everybody is going to work and trying to find a parking space I am having a second cup of coffee.
Problem solved.
