Damn I would have said it might have been me (and you might have just got the colour wrong!) but I wasn't out near my farm today (which is Winston Churchill/Steeles).
I saw a nice black SR5 or Limited downtown near Yonge/St Clair on Friday. It had XD series wheels (the 5 spoke ones... I think they're called Rockstars?), tint over the clear part of the rear tails, and all of the chrome pieces painted gloss black. Looked damn good! I would have sent the guy a wave but I was on foot at the time, not in the TE.

I just returned home from a 1500 mile trip from Indianapolis through Ohio, Kentucky, Tenessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and back and was suprised and disappointed that I did not see one 5th gen with a lift or upgraded wheels/tires or any other distinguishing feature that would make me suspect that they might be a member of this site (not even a stubby antenna). I spent almost 24 hours driving...where is everyone at?

Yeah that would have made it a little easier to find other Canadian 4Runner enthusiasts! I'm planning to order one of the T4R.org decals sometime, hopefully that will turn a few people onto the forums.

Well, I'm going to Washington DC in the end of May, although I'm plain stock but in US Canadian T4R will look like something modded (painted door handles, running boards). I'm going to be driving through NY and PA, so if somebody sees grey SR5 with Ontario licence plates - chances are it's me : )

Spotted a black Limited on Easter Sunday.
It was in my mother-in-law's driveway, recently purchased by my wife's Uncle (to take the place of his 3rd Gen). He's in his 60s, Egyptian immigrant, and doesn't know how eBay works. He's not on this forum.
(note: after playing with his Limited, Mrs. Sp8ball told me she liked my modded SR5 better!)

I've had my Silver TE since Jan. 3 2010. I've only ever seen one other 5th Gen TE during my 26,500 mile driving experience with this vehicle...we passed each other on I-95 near the GA/SC boarder last July and we both slowed in the hammer lane as we stared at each other's TE, so I'm certain he's on this site.
In the last 6 months, SR5s have appeared everywhere here in GA. 4 in my neighborhood alone. None are on here.

Right after a 6-hour mod session at Antman's house, I saw a Magnetic Grey SR5 at the local Safeway near our houses. I thought it might be him running to pick something up for our post-mod cookout...but it was a stupid girl who double parked in a handicapped space to let her girlfriend run into the Dollar Store. I knew it wasn't Antman when I saw the stock antenna.

thats just because I wasnt out driving mine....it was parked in our driveway while I was out hauling stuff in the dmax.
I had a black one jump in front of me on the freeway the other day, and I followed them for 8 miles before hopping off at my exit.....they were completely stock and looked at me funny like I was the insane one....needless to say i doubt THEY are on this forum.

I saw a Mag Grey Limited with a mangowalk stubby antenna turning onto Broadway from Westport Road in Kansas City last night around 8pm or so. The first thing I thought of when I saw the antenna was this thread...

I thought you'd spotted me for a second, as I was out roaming around that time. But I didn't make it that far south. Interesting to know that I have a twin truck here in town. I am probably the only one with VA plates though.

Youll probably see me around FTL occasionally, for commissary/BX runs, same situation to, still got the loaner stock wheels on mine since I changed out the orriginal KMC wheels for KMC XD Hoss ones. The wrong ones came in yesterday so gotta wait again. Then ill put some more pics up.

Saw a nice black Canadian SR5 today. First was at Blythwood/Mount Pleasant, you were heading south on Mount Pleasant, I was waiting to go east on Blythwood. Bumped into you again (I think) by Eglinton/Laird, I was going south on Laird through the lights, you were heading east on Eglinton, stopped at the lights.
Wondering if you're on here? Couldn't tell if you were looking at me in my TE. I noticed you had your back window all the way down even though it was raining! haha
