My wife and I had a great laugh at the coozie with the saying...sometimes all you need are a few inches (sorry I'm paraphrasing if I messed up the quote).


I'd love one of those hoodies. Are they true to size and 100% cotton?
I'm a big hoodie fan and wear one all the time.

Hahaha, I have stickers that say the same thing too.

I suggest going 1-2 sizes bigger, depending how "roomy" you like them to be. I only wear a sweater if I leave the swampy heat of Miami. hahaha
I just checked, they're 60% cotton, 40% polyester. I would guess that they shouldn't shrink much then?

Sweet. I'm a big guy, 240 pounds and usually XXL is what I normally buy in hoodies.

The coozie was a nice surprise today, as was my custom engraved box lid!

I'm officially ready for install this weekend!

I will say, Mike was very responsive... even at 10pm haha.
Anyone considering purchasing from him shouldn't hesitate.

I will update with my afterthoughts on the ride later this weekend. From everything I read on the land cruiser forums... Should be stellar. Those Aussies swear by Dobinsons.

Yeah, we have been running them on our 2016 4Runner since June. We just haven't stocked them yet as they're undergoing some upgrades, and we are waiting for them to add some adjustment to the compression and rebound. We have sold a few sets through special order, but that also requires air freight.

They're also working on vehicle-specific mounting brackets for the resi's too

Front Coils

I'm leaning towards a Dobinsons kit for my '17 T4R Off Road. Question for you guys that have already installed the coils. How's the driver side lean? My truck is .25" low on the drivers side front and back from the factory. .25" doesn't bother me, but if I'm not mistaken the factory coils are side specific. So I'm thinking if I have a lean with factory coils wouldn't it be even worse with coils that are same length/non side specific?

No worries man, glad those didn't disappear like the last 3 sets of coils I shipped out last week.... Apparently some T4R guys have figured out where our warehouse is and have been holding up the UPS guy just after he leaves here everyday. :fro:

Those are the JBA UCAs. They come in Red or you can get them raw. They may clash with the coils but I don't mind. :art:

Just curious, why are some of you guys using the bilsteins instead of the Dobinson shocks?

I assume because of the adjustability?

I have very little doubt the Dobinson shock is better quality. Just my opinion

monotube vs twin tube. IMO the twin tube is a very dated design that works great for slow stuff but high speed stuff the twin tube will overheat and fade quickly.


I'm leaning towards Dobinsons springs with Bilsteins OR Kings all around lol.
