Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

My situation: 2016 TEP w/KDSS. Daily Driver. Prefer to keep OEM UCA, and maintain reasonable CV angles. Current added weight Shrockworks Sliders @ ~65 lbs each. C4 Fab. Lo-Pro Bumper on order @ ~75 lbs. Will also add a winch @ ~60 lbs. I need to offset added weight, and would like to gain approx. 1.75" - 2.25" over stock, not looking to level, but certainly don't want to add any rake. I find myself looking at specs, photos, and builds almost daily, and am no where closer to making up my mind on what Dobinson's set up is right for me. The combos that I keep looking at are:

Option A
Front:
C59-302 - 100-220LBS heavy load front weight, 2" lift / Stock front end load, 2.5" lift 395/395mm, 17mm wire, 586LB paired with GS59-700 - Twin Tube, fixed mount (not adjustable), suits 0-2" lift
Rear:
C59-725 - Stock rear end, 1.75" lift with 3rd row, 2" without, offset height coils for KDSS leveling (similar to C59-325). 430/415mm, 17mm wire, 228LB paired with GS59-701 - Twin Tube, suits 0-2" lift.

Option B
Front:
C59-724 - Stock front end load, 1.75" lift. 375/370mm, 18mm wire, 730LB w/ same strut
Rear:
C59-723 - Stock rear end, 1.25" to 1.5" lift, offset height coils for KDSS leveling. 420/405mm, 17mm wire, 228LB w/ same shock

Any thoughts? Opinions? Input? Let me know if there are any advantages to one or the other, or perhaps something that I am overlooking.

I've sold the first combo to several/many people. Hard to keep track of everyone.

But the 2nd combo of C59-724/723, I sold that to a guy in Tennesee just 2 weeks ago, and he's on here somewhere. Hopefully he will chime in with his thoughts.

If you're super-ANTI brake dive, then the heavier rate 724 coils would be better in the front, plus with the extra weight in the front. We really do have too many options. I could probably suggest 4 different kit options for you, but that would just screw you up even more!! hahaha. Plus, everyone has their own opinion of how something rides at the end of the day.

The C59-725 do end up bringing up the back a fair bit when empty, so a few guys recently have gone with the 723's instead.

I have to imagine that the 724 front coils would be essentially un-phased by the added 120lbs up front, staying true to their 1.75” lift. I just can’t help but wonder if they would be too stiff, making for a jarring ride in normal situations.

Front: C59-302
Rear: C59-599
Bilstein 5100's, Front set at 0.

Rides like a unicorn galloping through the clouds, s***ing skittles.

That good.

C59-302? Why am I not seeing that on the front page? What lift is that? Edit** NVM, apparently I overlooked the post a few above mine.

Mike, maybe you can help, but what's your recommendation if I'm looking for the biggest lift without UCA's? I'm definitely going with your 599s in the rear but the 1.75 fronts look a little too low for my liking. Do you have a 2"-2.25" for light to no additional load? Level lift is the absolute goal.

Thanks

It's up there, just gotta look a bit harder!!

C59-302 - 100-220LBS heavy load front weight, 2" lift. 395/395mm, 17mm wire, 586LB
C59-302 - Stock front end load, 2.5" lift (or comfort option C59-448 for 3" lift). 395/395mm, 17mm wire, 586LB

302's for 2.5" without needing UCA's. Lots of guys on here are running them.

I’m looking for a lift kit and really interested in the dobinsons.

I have 2013 sr5 with spacers that I want to replace.

Wanna keep stock uca’s

Which setup would I need? I looked at the list and it looks like I need these:
C59-302 - Stock front end load, 2.5" lift (or comfort option C59-448 for 3" lift). 395/395mm, 17mm wire, 586LB

C59-505 - Stock rear end load, 1.25 to 1.5" lift. 405/405mm, 17mm wire, 220LB

Would this work and would my truck be level?

Let me know thanks!

What size tires are those?

At 9000 miles we ditched the stock SR5 suspension for a Dobinsons kit and it's the best thing I've done! Ride and handling feel much more controlled and the nose dive under braking is 90+% gone!
C59-302 / Gs59-574 / C59-325 / Gs59-705 and diff drop

Yes, the 302/505 combo would be good for you, unless you have accessory weight front and rear?

Here's the same coils installed on an empty truck, right after install so they hadn't settled yet.

So far so good. Took this pic the night before camping. So not fully loaded. Full time weight on car is just roof rack/fridge/sliders.

Loaded up the car for camping a week back. Def the reverse rake was gone when fully loaded. . Car was almost leveled with all the weight in the back and roof rack.

The ride is fine. I haven't really noticed anything different. I came from a really stuff suspension vehicle so currently rides perfect.

Front is all stock with stock tires.

Which springs did you use?

At the Overland Expo in Asheville I was able to pick up my suspension kit directly from Mike and had a good one hour talk with him. Very nice guy who stands complete behind his product and doesn't tell you sh..t. Back home in Ontario I installed the kit with a buddy which only took us 12h, hahaha. the biggest stopper was the KDSS system reinstallation. Everything else went fairly straight forward. I chose the following set up as I will have a dual swing rear bumper and a steel front bumper with winch.

C59-314 front coils
GS59-574 front shocks
C59-727 rear coils
GS59-701 rear shocks
UCAs and diff drop kit

The new right is of course stiffer and directer as before, but even with out the steel bumpers very comfortable. So I expect with the extra weight it will be even more smoother. I am very happy.

How much constant weight do you run in the back? I was thinking about picking up the same rear spring so i don't get a reverse rake when loaded up.
