I need some help. When I compress the spring enough to get the strut together
I’m not going to have enough room to remove the tool it looks like the struts not long enough. These are the parts I have Bilstein 5100s part#24-196499 and the spring Dobinson C59-448. Do I have to take these to a shop to get them

Make sure the 5100 circlip is in the lowest position and use the no spring compressor method.
Never done any strut like that before is there any info on how to do that? I’ve never lifted a Toyota before only ever lifted ford or dodge and both had plenty of room when changing. So I need some help with this one.

Have to use a different type of coil spring compressor, or use the other method the previous post mentioned.

Technically they would work fine as well with that small amount of lift

If it's just the rack with no extra weight, you can run the 599's just fine to be close to level. If you'll add a RTT or any other weight up on it, you can go up the extra 1/2" to the 505's.

With desert season behind us, we went up to a Sedona mountain yesterday, House Mountain, there are two legs of the trail, both with some loose shelf road sections and a couple rocky spots. The leg up had lots of assorted undulations. Later we drove a short but unusually eroded/washed out desert trail.
I am still surprised at the difference a pair of 238 front coils made though it has been more than a dozen trails since.
It really does make driving over rough terrain more pleasant as you don't bounce around like a cartoon character. I no longer understand the logic behind the OEM coils other than cost cutting. I thought there must be some downside to the Dobinsons, but there is none.
Well, there is one, as mentioned previously: it makes you want the full setup, esp MRR lol.

I still don't know why they use such soft springs from the factory either.

Dobinsons kit installed yesterday.
Front Springs:
C59-300 - Stock front end load, 1.75" lift
Rear Springs:
C59-505 - Stock rear end load, 1.5" - 1.75" lift. , 220lbs.
Front Strut Options:
GS59-574 - Twin Tube, fixed mount (not adjustable), long travel, adds 1" lift
Rear Shock Options:
GS59-701 - Twin Tube, suits 0-2" lift.
JBA UCA's
Stock size tires for a few days.
Front Springs:

Could I use the C59-314 front 75mm coils on the MR59-50700 Remote adjustable shock? Is there enough threads to lower the spring perch the extra inch? I am currently using a Bilstein 5100 with the stock perch setting. I know the Remotes come preset with 2" of lift, assuming a stock coil is used.
I already have the 314 coils and when I put my winch and half bumper on, I'd like to be able to set the perfectly level stance again.

Yes, you can use those coils with the MRR's. With bumper and winch on the front, set the coil seat height to 213mm from center of lower bolt to bottom notch of seat height.

Just got my 300/700 599/705 and 10mm disc installed (anti bro-lean) today.
Coming from a LE XREAS....this is WAY better. The mechanic who installed it (same guy that did my S/C) was very surprised on his test ride how comfortable the ride was. Do I still nose dive on braking... yes, but not nearly to the degree of OEM. And I wouldn't want it any harsher. The corning has improved. The truck taking railroad tracks has a nice sounding thump but you hardly feel it (same tracks I've been crossing forever...and definitely a noticeable difference).
The visual is a subtle difference yet noticeable. I had an ICON stage 5 on my 2016 TEP, and that was a bit overkill for me. This is spot on.
Shout out to Dave @Dobinsons_Mike (not sure Dave has a handle.. he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I believe Mike's partner in FL).
I think I may have been the first black shocks sold. The yellow is nice, I just wanted a little more low key and was waiting patiently for mid March when I was told black shocks/struts would become available. Black shocks/struts with red springs is the color combo I chose.
Very satisfied with the ride. Already put over a 150 miles on the truck.
Included my alignment numbers. The tech told me that's the most caster he can get and if it were any higher he would suggest UCAs.
Also my tech was able to remove the XREAS system w/o loosing fluid. I could easily go back to the setup if I wanted too (which I don't). Included pics of the wife's LE next to my lifted LE. As well as before an after pics. And I can't figure out how to edit and put descriptions on the pics.
