I'm looking for our family's first 4Runner, pictured above. It was a '91. My Dad built it and eventually sold it to a guy in Boise, ID, in the fall of 2014. I was 8 at the time. I've always wondered if its still out there. It has a fairly distinctive two-tone Monstaliner paint job and custom front bumper. If you recognize it or have seen it let me know. I have fond memories of it. Now I'm 15 and have an '89 1st Gen of my own. Thanks in advance

Nice looking rig GrubRunner it looks like he put a lot of care into that. Now that you have your own 1st gen, start your own killer project, emulate your father's old ride. You would probably make him very proud. I'm sure it would be a good deal of work and take some time but with the resources availible, I bet you could make a solid go of it. How cool would that be? Or is that already your plan. Lol ok ok I'm sure you have already thought of this.

Thanks for the encouragement Ontime1969 I'm unsure whether to try to keep mine stock and do a restoration project, or build it for adventure. I guess I've got time on my side...
