Does cv axles have a play when parked on ground?

I saw some videos that people can shake the cv axles a bit If the cv joint wore out. Does it only happen when raised? Or can you do it even when the car is parked on the ground?

Thanks! Mine doesn't have a play then. Perhaps the rumble sound I hear at low speed is due to a loose exhaust bolt then. Gonna check it when it stops raining.

Mine have a little play in them, given they've been through some mild wheeling and I've had a driver side boot bust on me. They don't make noise though.
