Does "dual preouts" mean auxllary? (for ipod)

My pioneer hu box says DUAL PREOUTS, does this mean I can hook my ipod up to one of them?????

Preamp outputs allow easier installation of an amp s and subs to your headunit.

What you need is an Input into your headunit.

How Do I know if i have an input into my headunit and if i dont, can I get one put in? If not, does the scion HU have an input? Thanks A LOT in advance!!
