I can't put bigger tires on mine until we move....as it clears my basement garage with less than an inch to spare. I rarely park in the garage...but I have to be able to pull in to work on it. There's no way I'm giving up being able to maintain my rig in my own garage for some bigger tires. :)

Criteria for new house: tall garage door, big garage.

I don't have a garage, but I pulled it in the shop at work the other day and SMASHED the door clear off the tracks and it came crashing down and all the plexiglass broke...yeah it was a mess....

so, no....it doesn't fit :biggrin2:

Well, that's certainly one way to figure it out.

lol, air down to pull in your garage! thatll give you a bit of spare room!

I currently have about 3" clearance between my stock roof rack, and garage door. After I get 35" tires this spring, that will reduce it by about 2", leaving only 1" of clearance. I'm considering building a custom low-profile roof rack to replace the stock one, thereby gaining a little clearance back.

i was thinking about this, i know our racks look cool but how often do we actually have something up there? i know mine only takes 10 mins to put on, would it be a good idea to run without the rack until you actaully need it?

you save a few mpg's and your car will fit in your garage, not to bad of a deal really, but then again ,my truck looks cooler with it......

lol

i got grilled by on of my friends thats a girl about the same thing, honestly i dont care how functional it is bc im mainly using it for the lights and putting buckets and poles and nets and things for fishing i dont want inside... and it looks damn good

Haha , I know looks meaner with it for sure ! Mines staying on, plus I don't have lights that would be very annoying disconnecting unless you did some awesome pig tail for it .
