Does middle seatback fold independently?

Ha-Ha. No worries, I've owned mine about as long as you yours and I never knew either. Not that I cared much either. And to prove it I'm not even going to go look. All or 1/2 down is how real man roll. eep:

it is 40/20/40 on all of them (5th GEN) I have a 2011 FYI

The middle section of the rear seat on my 2013 SR5 w/3rd row seat folds down independently, however the front/back sliding and reclining is 40/60.

You can lower the middle for cargo without losing the rear seating. I've had my middle 20% folded down to hold snowboard bags with passengers seated in each 40% on the side. I've also put some 8' posts in through the middle and it is narrow enough that they don't slide around when turning.
