Does something belong here?

I'm having issues with my throttle blade not reseating after the throttle is released. Looking at the photo below, can you tell me if I am missing a part? It looks as though something is supposed to be attached from the bracket to the throttle blade that would assist the throttle blade to reseat. Any thoughts?

I want to say the Cruise Control actuator cable, but I could be wrong.

That upper one is for the cruise control. It seems like Toyota changed the throttle cable each year and on each model because some of the 22re's have the throttle cable on the top and cruise control on the bottom. Either way, you're not missing anything. Clean your throttle body or adjust your throttle stop screw.

Will do. Thanks for the confirmation. I may end up having to get a new throttle cable. Last night I went to work the cable back and forth, and as soon as I barely touched the damn thing, it freyed near the sleeve.

This would confirm my wife's theory that everything I touch, turns to shit.

Anyway, that Frey tells me something is no goodie inside the sleeve. I'll post a pic of the frey in a bit. Anyone got an extra cable laying around?

Cable was screwed. Went to Lowes and manufactured a new cable, using the original sheathing, for $7. It's so solid that I'm not even going to replace it!!
