Does this stuff come off clean?

Are the "Sport Edition-4WD" chrome markings on the doors glued on or will I have to deal with paint work if I decide to remove them?

They are glued on with adhesive. No pegs.

I just used my finger nails to pull them off. I parked one side of the vehicle in towards the sun to warm up the glue and then yanked them off. Getting the residual glue left behind is the hardest part. Of course nicking the paint can happen as well.

When it comes to residual glue on automotive paint I have found that Bug and Tar remover works fairly well.
A good washing and some wax on the area is also a good idea.

Use floss of fishing line to "cut" along the back of the letters, then use the bug and tar or even a little goof-off to get the residue off.

debadge it and it'll be nice and gives you that clean look. and i bet some driver wonder what kind of 4R you have. only enthusiast would know.

if u get concerned about not taking them off rite just ask ur dealer thats what did i did for free but yea it does look better clean looking i also took off the toyota word in back ill post a pic wen i get time

I like the letters , but with they were gloss black on my Galactic Gray , and they would look good on silver too.

rear i like the clean look of it with out the toyota word and the doors it was just to long to be on the doors

hmmm... the back debadged looks good i might try that, i already did the doors it looks clean
