Does this TE hood look repairable?

What did they do to the hood to achieve alignment?

We get hoods like that to align by placing a 2x4 on the latch so the hood doesnt close and two people one on each side place pressure on the front of the hood and on the side that needs to be lower the person would easily apply more pressure to bend the hood down and align the gap. Its simply just bending the hood. People never notice and their always happy with the results wondering how it was done.

Pretty much what they did, 2x4 and two guys on each side lol. Then they massaged out any ripples in the hood, sanded, primer and paint. They did an excellent job. Talked them down to just $300 for labor and paint.

Truly good body and paint work is an art.
I consider a really good body/paint guy/gal to be an artist, not so much a "repair person".
If you've ever attempted body and paint work (and I am pretty good at things within my skill level but nowhere near what the pro's are) you understand how difficult it can be to match that paint, or line up that fender gap just perfectly.
You find somebody that is really, really good, hold onto them like grim death because there are 99 wannabe's for every really good one. And the good ones deserve every penny. ;-)
