Dog proof rear seat material in Trail?

I never tested out the actual seat cloth because I immediately put wet okole seat covers in mine. They have held up perfect over the last year to my two labs.

While I may be new to the world of wheelin.dogs are my specialty. Nothing holds up to dogs better than leather. Although it helps to put a fleece blanket down over any seat material. I am pulling leather seats out of 3rd gen to put in my 92. Found some in the junk yard recently in great shape.
The seats are pretty durable, at least for my 55lb Vizsla. To me the fabric is tight woven and it seems like over time hair would become embedded in it. I initially used a large blanket then bought a hammock type thing from online that connects between the headrests and works awesome.

I take my 80lbs Sharpei/Chow and 10lbs Min Pin with me everywhere. I have Wet Okole Seat Covers in my 2011 Tacoma and I just lay down a beach towel to cover the seats.
In my 2012 SR5, I ordered Wet Okoles on Front and 2nd Row and will use the "as seen on tv" pet blanket liner that you hang from the headrest and drapes down the seats.
To minimize the "doggy smell", bathe your dog at least once a week and mix 1 part woolite to 8 parts water in a spray bottle, then spray (lightly) on seats (if cloth) or seat covers and wet vac as necessary. You don't have to soak the cloth seats with the mixture.

For doggy smell, the best stuff I've used is Odorban. Does a very effective job.

Are you kidding me? A dog did that to your truck?? Wow, I would go alpha on that mfer....
I put the dog bed down normally and then a moving blanket from harbor freight for my beast. He is about 80lbs, big frame but skinny, he has always been on a low calorie diet, (approx no more than 1 cup morning and night) he could probably easily weigh 100 lbs if allowed to eat like a cow.
Anyway, the seats hold up fine, but I have found that his hair does not want to come off the seats if I don't use a blanket. Even with a lint roller the stuff sticks like magic. Seriously, don't let them in the truck w/o a blanket.
FYI I put a harness from fordogtrainers.com on my dog and strap in with the seat belt. He does not get up constantly and won't fly in an emergency stop or accident.

When we go camping I can take it out of the truck and put it in the tent or by the fire for him. Plus when you need the back seat for something or someone else just throw it in the back and the seat underneath is pretty clean.

I've been searching around for something that I like with flexibility instead of a big blanket. Looks pretty good and I might get it. I don't know how it will fit tho. Couldn't find too many reviews but for the ones I did find, most people say it's a great product but not perfect fit for their suvs. Still averaged 4/5 stars
