Doing some work

Hey guys I am getting ready to do some work to my runner and was wondering if you guys could give me some help I am going to be changing the exhust manifold and power steering rack and pointers would be great than you

More of a thought... I'd recommend changing out the outer tie rods while you're in there, inners if necessary (disconnect the outer tie rod, lift it up. If it stays put it's good, if it falls, replace the inners as well.) Maybe ball joints? Be nice to knock it all out at once and only pay for one alignment!

With the steering rack, perhaps replace the bushings with polyurethane bushings... Made a huge difference on mine.

As far as the exhaust manifold goes, PB Blaster is your friend. Soak those nuts as long as you can, as many times as you can. Then do it some more.

That is what I was thinking and I am going to replace eveything I can wile I am there


I plan to soak the bolts in plaster a lot
