Dome/Interior lights door funtion doesnt work

My interior lights doenst work in "Door" function but works when "ON" so I know its not the bulb or fuse.

What to do?

Sounds like the switch in the door. There are videos online that show how to fix them.

I had a bad one many years ago, but I don’t remember if I replaced it or fixed it.

Sorry for the stupid question, but is there a different switch for the dome light and the door panel lights? I’m not familiar with the older 4Runners.
