I was going to replace the dome light as I noticed it did not come on when the doors were opened. When I checked the DOOR/ON/OFF selector slider to see if it was just in the "OFF" position it felt really loose. It didn't stop at each postion like the front map light did. I popped off the cover like many have in the interior LED mod (I was going to go ahead and do this since I had to replace a bulb anyway :happy
.
I removed the burned out bulb and it felt like the whole housing assembly seemed loose. When I put the new bulb in, it lit up and stayed lit no matter which position the slider was in. I'm thinking whatever connection existed between the bulb housing and sliding selector has come apart somehow.
Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with this issue and if there is a quick fix or if this is a take-it-to-the-dealer type problem.
Thanks.
